Mia is just a normal girl. Not popular or on the cheer leading squad she is quiet and has good grades. Then for no reason at all the super hot Rob asks her to the prom. Life is suddenly alot better for Mia but before she knows what has struck her the ever popular Samantha makes her life hell.Samantha wants Rob and Mia isn't willing to be dumped just before prom. So her hypochondriac best friend Candice helps Mia get a love spell to make sure her boy doesn't go off with anyone else. Unfortunately the love spell isn't what it was supposed to be and Mia suddenly finds herself the Zombie Queen of Newbury High living through a prom night she will most certainly never forget.
This cute YA book was fabulously fun. Mia was a lovable character and her best friend Candice was a hoot. With the hot guys added into the mix of paranormal this made for great reading. The story flowed nicely and the plot was interesting and different. Definitely one to recommend to any YA readers you know or one to try yourself if you like YA.
