152) My Soul to Take by Rachel Vincent

Kaylee Cavanaugh thinks there is something wrong with her. She doesn't see dead people but she does sense when someone is about to die. It isn't something she can control but when it happens all she wants to do is scream. Her aunt and uncle already had her committed once after she had an 'episode' but it has been a long time since it has happened and Kaylee is happy to be living a normal life.

Then one evening Kaylee feels the need to scream. Not only is the location, a night club, not the best place to start screaming but also the hottest guy in school is paying lots of attention to her as she sees the person who is going to die. However Kaylee doesn't need to worry about Nash. He seems to know more about what is happening to her than she does. What they both don't know is who is taking the souls of all the young girls who weren't scheduled to die.

I am a huge fan of Rachel Vincent's Werecat series and now I am a huge fan of her new Young Adult series. If the start of the Soul Screamers series 'My Soul to Take' is anything to go by, then this is going to be another must have series from one of the best Paranormal Urban Fantasy writers out there!

Rachel Vincent brought us something fresh and new with her werecat series and she has done it again with the Soul Screamers. This is unique, fascinating and addictive and I couldn't put it down for more than a few minutes. Kaylee and Nash are amazing lead characters and the plot was delicious! I eagerly lapped up the whole book from start to finish and I am dying to see what happens next.

If you are already a fan of the author then this is not to be missed. If you like Young Adult paranormals then get this straight away. Oh well just get it. You won't regret it! I certainly won't be giving this copy away ;)
