Back in Lily Dale after solving a murder, Calla is ready to get back into her life in the psychic community. Her father is in Lily Dale and everyone, including Calla, is doing their best to keep him from finding out what really happens there. Is he really ready to find out about the 'abilities' everyone living in Lily Dale has? If he decides to stay then he is going to have to find out sometime.
Now she knows who was behind her mother's death, Calla should be able to leave the past alone. However something is pushing Calla in the direction of the emails on her mothers old laptop. What will she find out if she reads them? Does she want to know the secrets her mother was keeping from everyone? As she finally reads them some of the mysteries are solved but others are start to unfold. Will Calla find out the truth behind all of her mothers secrets? Will she find closure?
I love the Lily Dale series and this new part was no exception. Eerie, spooky and exciting this series is one of my favourite Young Adult reads. I love how the story winds around little mysteries, solves them and then makes more. There is never a dull moment in Lily Dale.
The only thing I didn't really like about this is the new look on the cover. I preferred the other version more. However the cover can not do justice to the reading delight that is awaiting inside this book. Suspense and a little romance makes this a gripping and wonderful tale about a girl who can see the dead. This is a series I can highly recommend to any reader, young or old. Now the wait begins again for another book in the series.
