Blurb -
Weather Warden Joanne Baldwin, her husband, the djinn David, and the Earth herself have been poisoned by a substance that destroys the magic that keeps the world alive. The poison is destabilizing the entire balance of power, bestowing magic upon those who have never had it, and removing it form those who need it. It's just a matter of time before the delicate balance of nature explodes into chaos-and doom.
My Review -
For anyone who loves this series, beware! This is the end. No more Weather Warden series. No more Joanne and David. It is over. However you will have to read Total Eclipse to find out who wins, who dies and how it all really ends. You can sneak into a bookstore and read the last chapter if you want but do you really want to miss the action packed last book?
Blink and you might miss something. Put this book down for any reason and you will be on edge until you can pick it back up again. I have been addicted to the series since the first book but this last installment had me on tender hooks. Joanne is yet again trying to save the world but this time it is the worse case scenario and Mother Earth is not holding back. It is a race against everything and everyone is going to get hurt.
All good things must come to an end and while I am sad to see this unique series finish it does go out in style. Rachel Caine will always be on my must read list and maybe see will reward us with something new, cool and just as unusual as the Weather Wardens. Any fans of the series need to get hold of a copy as soon as possible and anyone who hasn't yet tried the series can now get all of them at once and not have to wait for the next book. Enjoy and look out for more from this amazing Urban fantasy author.

Finished this one awhile back too! Can you believe it's over! And the way it ended?! WOW. Just wow! Wasn't expecting that at all!
I really have got to get back to this series! I got sidetracked by the Morganville Vampires.
