77) Devil Without a Cause by Terri Garey

The Blurb :

Temptation and seduction are the tricks of the Devil's trade, and when offered the chance to regain his wings by playing guardian angel, he's hell-bent on doing things his way . . .

Faith McFarland is in need of a miracle. So desperate to save her sick child, she's willing to make a deal with the Devil: steal a ring worn by Finn Payne, the bad-boy rockstar who long ago sold his soul for rock 'n roll. Temptation and seduction become necessary evils, yet Faith's salvation means Finn's damnation . . . because the ring is all that stands between him and Hell. Falling in love was never part of the bargain, but now that they've tasted heaven in each other's arms, can they convince the Devil to give up his due?

My Review :

So I must admit that I didn't read the blurb for this one. Terri Garey is a must read for me and I couldn't wait to see what Nikki Styx was up to. But wait, where is she? Oh there she is...mentioned once...or twice. Uh! This book is not about Nikki but the yummy devil Samuel! Even better!

Once I got over my initial shock I have to say I was excited. A book about Sammy and not Nikki? We are not being punished but being rewarded. Oh and a great reward it was as well. I quickly got hooked by the story and within a few hours the book was over. Wow! It was a great read filled with twists and quite amazing. I wanted more!

Supernatural hellish delights mixed with some romance and humour is what lies in wait for you when you pick up Devil Without a Cause. A super bunch of characters with a gripping plot makes this a great read that stands on its own without reading the Nikki Styx novels. If you haven't tried this author yet then you can't go wrong with this one and fans will be delighted to see what Sammy gets up to in hell. Terri stays a must read author for me and I hope another book about Nikki or Sam will be out soon.
