158) Redemption Alley by Lilith Saintcrow

Jill Kismet is used to unusual cases but this one takes first prize in the category. It all starts out when a someone on the police force asks her to look into a case that was labelled a suicide. Suddenly Jill is in over her head and she needs all the help she can get.

Deception, drugs and murder are just the tip of the iceberg. The cops are on her side, except the ones that are trying to kill her. The hellbreed are her prey, except the ones who maybe able to tell her something useful. Jill's city is in danger and time is running out. How far will this hunter go to save her city, her friends and herself?

This is the third book in the Jill Kismet series and things just keep getting better and better for us readers. Jill on the other hand has her work cut out for her this time around, although that is nothing new for her. A hunter's work is never done and Jill finds this out the hard way in Redemption Alley.

Deep, dark, dismal and delicious this series is hard hitting and fascinating. Lilith Saintcrow has built up an Urban Paranormal Fantasy dream of a world and topped it off with a super lead character. What does the future holds in store for Jill? I don't know but I am definitely going to be reading more to find out.
